TANNER + ALLISON

Some images from a Kansas City engagement this past weekend. We got to shoot in an old Pabst Blue Ribbon distribution building and I was in heaven; urban exploring is definitely high up on my list of loves.

Kate

Moving forward with a school project I took some film photos of Kate yesterday, one of my favorite people in the universe. These images are a digital counterpart, something to play with until I can get into the darkroom on Monday.

The prettiest lady!

Kori

Today my friend Kori helped me out by letting me take her photo for a school project. The final images were taken with film, but here is a digital preview. She's too pretty not to share.

Repurposing

Started Monday off by re-potting my three year old cacti. I repurposed candle jars and added washi tape and was really happy with how they turned out. To get wax out of the jars all you have to do is put them in the freezer for an hour or two; it pops right out!

This little guy is very dear to me. My grandfather made it this past Christmas out of scraps of wood from his shop. I'm hoping that he can teach me how to make these once summer starts creeping in so that I can have a small collection to hold on to.

He was the cutest <3 font="font">

glass house

At some point in time a handful of years ago, my mother was given a few glass terrariums. I was always so envious of them and also frustrated that they served as decoration and nothing was ever grown inside of them.  A few days ago she brought me the biggest of all, and today I planted basil. We'll see what becomes of it and hopefully I end up with a pretty glass house filled with plant life.

*Thank you to my beautiful friend Kate for gifting me these seeds on my last birthday.*

2013

Here's hoping that everyone's year has started off on the right foot! This is my first post of what will hopefully be many, as one of my resolutions is to try and provide some original content that will hopefully make other people happy when they look at it. I spend so much time looking at what other people are putting out into the world and getting inspired by it that I genuinely feel like it's time to contribute as well and be apart of keeping the cycle going.

Yesterday afternoon my sister and her boyfriend came over to get some New Years Eve photos so below are just a few that I've sent them so far.

Happy 2013!
